About Freelancer

I’ve been working in software and games Quality Assurance for 16 years, over a variety of titles and platforms. I craft excellent full coverage test plans with an eye for tester usability. But I also love to get my hands dirty and manually test, dig around in logs for weirdness and generally make a nuisance of myself (but like, in a good way)!

I’ve spent the last 6 years working on an action RPG made in Unreal Engine 4, and managed the testing for the upgrade to UE5. I have experience with the usual QA suite of tools, JIRA, Zephyr, and Testrails, as well as some SQL and API testing in previous roles. I’ve participated and led Triage meetings and have given risk assessments for live service changes in previous roles. I’ve led test efforts for an internal art database with the appropriately slick UI, as well as narrative dialogue tools that any writer would love to work with.

Enough about me, what about me? As a huge dork I spend my time playing pen and paper RPGs with friends in meatspace and on discord, and the usual videogame “research” with a strong lean toward the survival-craft genre these days. I also enjoy cooking, some kitbash modeling, and throwing toys at my two kittens, Reg and Miles.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope to hear from you soon!
