About Freelancer
As a certified UX Designer with over five years of experience in Product Management, I blend a deep understanding of user experience with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in dynamic environments. My expertise spans across managing teams of professionals with diverse skillsets, gathering and implementing user-research, and utilizing tools like Salesforce, Trello, and Clickup to streamline workflows. Currently, I am driving UX initiatives at Fire Mountain Gems & Beads, where I use proven user research methods to enhance customer engagement through innovative functionalities.
My background in managing product launches, such as the tabletop RPG “Night Side,” and my recent role as Lead UX Writer at Tech Fleet have honed my ability to act on user reasearch and iterate based on user feedback. I am passionate about leveraging data-driven insights and user-centered design to create intuitive experiences and foster collaboration. With a commitment to clear communication and a knack for adapting to new challenges, I am dedicated to delivering exceptional results in UX Design, Product Design, and Data Science.
Education
The EMDA program is designed to meet the challenges facing contemporary creative industries and is built around a culture of collaboration and experimentation. In addition to hard technical skills, I developed my ability to think critically and analytically, convincingly articulate and present my ideas, and organize and manage complicated long-term projects.
The Communication Major focuses on the study of how human beings create meaning through the exchange of verbal, nonverbal and mediated messages. I learned how to competently create messages in both written and oral forms, and became adept at the skills and underlying theories of such topics as: intercultural interactions, small group communication, persuasion, public communication, race and gender, conflict resolution, and much more.
Through Google's 5 part UX Certification CourseI, I learned the foundations of UX design, including empathizing with users, building wireframes and prototypes, and conducting research to test my designs — and discover how to effectively utilize AI in UX design. These foundational skills have been incredibly valuable in my subsequent work.
